Abhanga 1546
Real peace comes only from directly seeing what you long for, and openly admitting your hunger for that vision is itself an act of devotion.
The verse
सकळिकांचें समाधान । नव्हे देखिल्यावांचून ॥१॥ रूप दाखवीं रे आतां । सहजरभुजांच्या मंडिता ॥ध्रु.॥ शंखचक्रपद्मगदा । गरुडासहित ये गोविंदा ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे कान्हा । भूक लागली नयनां ॥३॥
Literal translation
Samādhāna of sakaḷikām — doesn't happen without dēkhilyā. Show rūpa now — sahaja-bhujāñcyā maṇḍitā. Śankha-cakra-padma-gadā — Garuḍa-sahita, come, Govinda. Tuka says: Kānhā — hunger has come to nayanām.

Eyes-hungry-for-darśana abhang. The opening: sakaḷikāñcēm samādhāna — navhē dēkhilyā-vāñcūna — thesamādhāna(peace) — ofall—doesn't happen—without seeing(dēkhilyā-vāñcūna). No peace can come without seeing him.
The plea-for-form: rūpa dākhavīm rē ātām — sahaja-bhujāñcyā maṇḍitā — show — therūpa—now; — naturally-adorned — by thebhujas (arms). The naturally-armed image — catur-bhuja (four-armed) is Hari's natural-form.
