For today: now why do useless effort? — only false fatigue to mind; what-is will come-to-knowing soon — now after Vārakarīs have come; much delay's nearness arrived — patience's fruit in womb; what-is-walked will reach-place at the end — breaking-of-footsteps fulfilled; Tuka says — hope is fixed in jīva — therefore I beg for kīmva.
The verse

What it means
Don't-do-useless-effort-after-Vārakarīs-come abhang. CLOSES 19-ABHANG SUB-CLUSTER (1934-1952).
The opening: ātām karāvā kām sōmsa vāmyāviṇa — laṭikā chi sīṇa manāsī hā — now why do useless effort? — only false fatigue to mind. Now-that-the-Vārakarīs-have-come, useless-anxiety is-pointless.
The fulfilled-waiting: asēla tē kaḷōm yēīla laukarī — ātām Vārakarī ālyāpāṭhī — what-is will come-to-knowing soon — now after the Vārakarīs have come. The cluster's-thesis fulfilled: the news-will-come now-that-the-Vārakarīs-are-back.
The patience-fruit: bahu vilambācē sannidha pātalē — dhīrācē rāhilē phaḷa pōṭīm — much delay's nearness arrived — patience's fruit in womb. The fruit-of-patience comes-to-fruition.
The completed-walk: chālilē tē ṭhāva pāvēla sēvaṭīm — puralāyā tuṭī pāulāñcī — what-is-walked will reach-place at the end — breaking-of-footsteps fulfilled. The walking (= the Vārī) reaches-its-destination; footsteps-broken-completely (= journey complete).
The closing: Tukā mhaṇē āsē lāgalāsē jīva — mhaṇaūni kīmva bhākītasēm — Tuka says: hope is fixed in jīva — therefore I beg for kīmva. Kīmva = mercy, compassion.
The colophon ॥१९॥ closes a 19-abhang Vārkarī-arrival sub-cluster (1934-1952) — the bhakta-anticipating-the-Vārkarī-return-and-asking-for-news from-Pandhari-Viṭhṭhal. The next group (1953+) shifts to a different format/theme.
