हित तें हें एक राम कंठीं राहे । नाठविती देहभाव देही ॥१॥ हा चि एक धर्म निज बीजवर्म । हें चि जाळी कर्में केलीं महा ॥ध्रु.॥ चित्ती राहे पायीं रूप बैसे डोळां । जीवें कळवळा आवडीचा ॥२॥ अखंड न खंडे अभंग न भंगे । तुका म्हणे गंगे मिळणी सिंधु ॥३॥

The opening — the only-hita: hita tē hē ēka Rāma kaṇṭhī rāhē — nāṭhavitī dēha-bhāva dēhī — the only hita is — Rāma stays in the throat — no body-feeling remembered in the body. Rāma in-the-throat (= the Name on-the-tongue, perpetually); body-feeling absent.
The seed-dharma: hā chi ēka dharma nija bīja-varma — hē chi jāḷī karmē kēlīm mahā — this is the one dharma — the true seed-secret — this burns the great karmas done. The Nāma-japa as bīja-varma (seed-secret); it-burns even-the-great-karmas.
The triple-presence: chittī rāhē pāyīm rūpa baisē ḍōḷām — jīvē kaḷavaḷā āvaḍīchā — remains in chitta — at the feet — form sits in the eyes — jīva's tender-pang of love. Three-loci: chitta-at-feet, rūpa-in-eyes, love-pang-in-jīva.
THE BRILLIANT CLOSING WITH THE GENRE-PUN: akhaṇḍa na khaṇḍē abhanga na bhangē — Tukā mhaṇē Gangē miḷaṇī Sindhu — the unbroken doesn't break — abhanga doesn't fragment — Tuka says: Ganga merges-into the Sindhu. Abhanga puns on (a) the genre-name (= unbreakable verse-form) and (b) "unbreakable" itself. The akhaṇḍa-doesn't-break; the abhanga-doesn't-fragment — the Ganga-merges-into-the-Sindhu (= the bhakta merges-into-the-Lord, like Ganga merging-into-the-ocean). One of the most-quoted closing-lines in Tukārām** — the genre's-name itself becomes the realization-image.
