Abhanga 2010

Since the truth of your heart is already known within, there is no need to justify yourself or chatter to convince others.

When you feel pressured to defend your actions to people even though your conscience is clear
When you catch yourself over-explaining just to be understood or approved of
When you feel weighed down trying to prove that something outside your control was not your fault

The verse

Literal translation

What we speak — you know — the one plays in both places. What's the use of justification — Rāma knows the inside. Knowing already — what use my chatter to people? Tuka says: the cause is with the One — all is in him.
