Abhanga 2046

For today: became (with) such fortune — blessed I came to birth; I roll on the bottom-step — saints set foot on top of me; prema-amṛta drinking — will be foot-dust-bath; Tuka says — with sukha — his duḥkhas will be carried off.

When you get the chance to quietly help or support someone you deeply admire
When you feel embarrassed about doing lowly or unnoticed work for someone you love
When you are weighed down by sorrow and need a reminder that humble devotion can ease it

The opening: aiśā bhāgyē jālōm — tarī dhanya janmā ālōmbecame (with) such fortune — blessed I came to birth. Such-fortune; the birth-now-blessed.

THE BOTTOM-STEP IMAGE: ruḷē taḷīlē pāyarī — santa pāya dētī varīI roll on the bottom-step — saints set foot on top of me.
