For today: as before, the bhāva that was in my body — no place like that now; such is my mind's witness against me — capital-break appears ahead; examines others' minds and guṇa-dōṣa — to make oneself pūjya; Tuka says — the rooster's way — digs ahead, doesn't know gain.
The verse

What it means
No-bhāva-now-mind-witnesses-against-me + rooster-digs-ahead abhang. SELF-AUDIT.
The opening — bhāva-lost: māgē jaisā hōtā mājhē angīm bhāva — taisā ēka ṭhāva nāhīm ātām — as before, the bhāva that was in my body — no place like that now. The bhāva-I-had-before — no-place-for-it now. Confession of-fading-fervor.
The mind-as-witness: aisē gōhī mājhē mana majapāśīm — tuṭī mudalēmsī disē puḍhē — such is my mind's witness against me — capital-break appears ahead. My-own-mind testifies-against-me; capital-loss (mudala-tuṭī) lies-ahead. Echoes 1951's mana manē gvāhī.
The diagnosis: puḍhilāñchē manā āṇi guṇa-dōṣa — pūjya āpaṇāsa karāvayā — examines others' minds and guṇa-dōṣa — to make oneself pūjya. Critiquing-others' minds and-guṇa-dōṣa to-elevate-self. The hypocrisy-pattern.
The rooster-image: Tukā mhaṇē jālī kōmbaḍyāchī parī — puḍhē chi ukarī lābha nēṇē — the rooster's way has happened — digs ahead, doesn't know gain. Like-the-rooster, I-dig-ahead-into-dirt without-knowing what-gain-is. Vivid agricultural-image of-misdirected-effort.
