आतां घेई माझें । भार सकळ ही ओझें ॥१॥ काय करिसी होईं वाड । आलों पोटासीं दगड ॥ध्रु.॥ तूं चि डोळे वाती । होईं दीपक सांगातीं ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे कांहीं । विचाराया चाड नाहीं ॥३॥
Literal translation
English: Now take my — whole burden, the load. What will you do — grow up — I came with a stone in belly. You yourself be the eyes, the wick — be the lamp-companion. Tuka says: nothing — no need to consider.

The stone-in-belly: kāya karisī hō'īm vāḍa — ālōm pōṭāsīm dagaḍa — what will you do — grow up — I came with a stone in belly. What-can-I-grow-up-into; I-came with-a-stone-in-belly (= I'm-burdened-from-birth).
The eyes-wick-lamp-companion: tūm chi ḍōḷē vātī — hō'īm dīpaka sāngātīm — you yourself be the eyes, the wick — be the lamp-companion. You-be the eyes (vision), the wick (means), the lamp-companion (light + presence). Triple-substitution: Lord as-everything-needed.
