Literal translation

English: Therefore I come pleading repeatedly — ★ in your hands, Husband-of-Kamalā, is the treasure ★. Come to remove poverty — no delay needed — sufficient fearless-giver — place-to-place for the poor. Nowhere to run — for this I forsook desire — don't let it take refuge — opposed the mind. By virtue of cause — knows not time or kāla — ★ by your kīrtana — Tukā wakes you ★.

What it means

★ KAMALĀ-PATĪ HOLDS THE TREASURE + KĪRTANA WAKES THE LORD ABHANG ★. 4-verse longer-format.

The poverty-removal: phēḍūm ālētī daridri — tarī na lagē uśīracome to remove poverty — no delay needed. You-come to-remove-poverty; no-delay needed.

★ THE FAMOUS KĪRTANA-WAKES-THE-LORD ★: tumchyā kīrtanē — Tukā tumhām jāgavī★ by your kīrtana — Tukā wakes you ★. ★ By-your-kīrtana, Tukā wakes-you. ★ The bhakta's-kīrtana wakes-the-Lord — a reversal-of-roles: bhakta-as-the-one-who-rouses-the-Divine.
