रायाचें सेवक । सेवटीचें पीडी रंक ॥१॥ हा तों हिणाव कवणा । कां हो नेणां नारायणा ॥ध्रु.॥ परिसेंसी भेटी । नव्हे लोहोपणा तुटी ॥२॥ तुझें नाम कंठीं । तुक्या काळासवें भेटी ॥३॥
Literal translation
English: King's servant — afflicts the poor at the end. Whose insult is this — don't you know, Nārāyaṇā. ★ Meeting with paris (touchstone) — iron-state doesn't break ★. Your Name at throat — Tukā meets kāḷa.

★ THE PARIS-IMAGE ★: parisēmsī bhēṭī — navhē lōhōpaṇā tuṭī — ★ meeting with paris — iron-state doesn't break ★. Paris = touchstone, alchemical-stone that-turns-iron-to-gold. ★ Even-after-meeting the-paris (= the Lord), my iron-state-doesn't-break. ★ A complaint-bhakti-line — despite-meeting-the-Lord-who-should-turn-iron-to-gold, the bhakta-remains-iron.
The Name-at-throat: tujhē nāma kaṇṭhīm — Tukyā kāḷāsavē bhēṭī — ★ your Name at throat — Tukā meets kāḷa ★. With-the-Name at-the-throat, Tukā meets-kāḷa (= death-Time). The Name-protection-faces-death.
