Abhanga 2520

For today: let unbroken samādhi happen — drown in prema-bōdhi .

When your restless mind won't stop chasing ten different worries at once
When you notice that things you once valued now feel empty after actually having them
When you find yourself longing for a single steady state of devotion instead of scattered pursuits

The verse

Literal translation

How much I deliberate in life — mind runs in 10 directions. By some-bhāva — you accept — make consideration for this. Other gains have become trivial — guṇa-aguṇa came to anubhava. Tuka says: let unbroken samādhi happen — go drowning in prema-bōdhi.

What it means

THE AKHAṆḌA-SAMĀDHI + DROWN-IN-PREMA-BŌDHI ABHANG.

The closing-aspiration: lāgō akhaṇḍa samādhi — jāvē prēma-bōdhīm buḍōniyāmlet unbroken samādhi happen — go drowning in prema-bōdhi. Let akhaṇḍa (unbroken) samādhi happen; let-me-go drowning in-prema-bōdhi (love-awakening). A celebrated bhakti-pinnacle aspiration.
