Abhanga 2535
For today: Jagajēṭhī, lift and embrace at the throat .
When you realize you're holding part of yourself back from a commitment you claim is total.
When you're tempted to explain at length instead of simply asking for what you urgently need.
When you want to surrender fully rather than keep a safe distance.
The verse
मथनीचें नवनीत । सर्व हितकारक ॥१॥ दंडवत दंडा परी । मागें उरी नुरावी ॥ध्रु.॥ वचनाचा तो पसरुं काईं । तांतडी डोईंपाशींच ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे जगजेठी । लावीं कंठीं उचलूनि ॥३॥
Literal translation
Churned-butter — helpful for all. Daṇḍavata like a daṇḍa-(stick) — let no residue remain behind. Why spread the words — haste at head. Tuka says: Jagajēṭhī — lift and embrace at throat.
