Abhanga 2547
For today: chātaka-firm — target-piercing arrow ; dark four-armed mūrti, Kṛṣṇa-Name in chitta .
When your restless longing makes you feel needy and you want to name that feeling honestly.
When you're tempted to chase many things instead of committing to one clear focus.
When you want your devotion or resolve protected from wavering or breaking.
The verse
कासया या लोभें केलें आर्तभूत । सांगा माझें चित्त नारायणा ॥१॥ चातकाचे परी एक चि निर्धार । लक्षभेदीतीर फिरों नेणे ॥ध्रु.॥ सांवळें रूपडें चतुर्भुज मूर्ति । कृष्णनाम चित्तीं संकल्प हा ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे करीं आवडीसी ठाव । नको माझा भाव भंगों देऊं ॥३॥
Literal translation
Why made me destitute by greed — tell, my chitta, Nārāyaṇā. Chātaka-firm — target-piercing-arrow — doesn't turn. Dark beautiful form, four-armed mūrti — Kṛṣṇa-Name in chitta — this sankalpa. Tuka says: make place for love — don't let my bhāva break.
