Abhanga 2561
The verse
संगतीनें होतो पंगतीचा लाभ । अशोभीं अनुभव असिजेतें ॥१॥ जैसीं तैसीं असों पुढिलांचे सोईं । धरिती हातीं पायीं आचारिये ॥ध्रु.॥ उपकारी नाहीं देखत आपदा । पुढिलांची सदा दया चित्तीं ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे तरीं सज्जनाची कीतिऩ । पुरवावी आर्ति निर्बळांची ॥३॥
Literal translation
English: ★ By association comes the row's gain — anubhava is in non-glory ★. Let us be as we are, on the path of those ahead — they take hand at feet, conducting. Upakārī sees no distress — always dayā for others in chitta. ★ Tuka says: then sajjana's fame — fulfill the ārti of the weak ★.
