Abhanga 2562
The deepest surrender is a complete exchange of self, with no pretense left, witnessed only by the one who truly knows what lies within.
When you're ready to stop holding back and give yourself fully to something you believe in.
When you're tired of pretense and want an honest, open exchange instead.
When you realize only one other person truly knows what has really passed between you.
The verse
करितां विचार सांपडलें वर्म । समूळ निश्रम परिहाराचें ॥१॥ मज घेऊनियां आपणांसी द्यावें । साटी जीवें जीवें नारायणा ॥ध्रु.॥ उरी नाहीं मग पडदा कां आला । स्वमुखें चि भला करितां वाद ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे माझें खरें देणें घेणें । तुम्ही साक्षी जाणें अंतरींचें ॥३॥
Literal translation
Inquiring, found the secret — root-effortless removal. Take me, give to your-self — exchange life-for-life, Nārāyaṇā. No residue, why screen — by own-mouth do good dispute. Tuka says: my real giving-taking — you witness know inner.
