The verse
लौकिकासाटीं या पसार्याचा गोवा । कांहीं नाहीं देवा लागों येत ॥१॥ ठेवावा माथा तो नुचलावा पायीं । ठांयींचिये ठांयीं हालों नये ॥ध्रु.॥ डव्हळिल्या मनें वितळिलें रूप । नांवऐसें पाप उपाधीचें ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे देव प्रीतीनें कवळी । ठेवील जवळी उठवूनि ॥३॥
Literal translation
English: For worldly, this expanse-entanglement — nothing reaches Dēva. ★★ Place head — never lift — at feet — at-the-place, don't budge ★★. By shaken mind, melted form — pāpa is just-name of upādhi. ★ Tuka says: Dēva with prīti embraces — keeps near, lifting ★.
