The verse
उपजों मरों हे तों आमुची मिरासी । हें तूं निवारिसी तरी थोर ॥१॥ उभा राहीं करीं खरा खोटा वाद । आम्ही जालों निंद लंडीपणें ॥ध्रु.॥ उभयतां आहे करणें समान । तुम्हां ऐसा म्हणें मी ही देवा ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे हातीं सांपडलें वर्म । अवघाची भ्रम फेडिन आतां ॥३॥
Literal translation
English: ★ Birth-death is our mirāsī — if you remove it, [you're] great ★. ★ Stand up, do the true-false debate — we became disgraced, cowardly ★. Work to be done by both equally — even I say of you, Dēvā. Tuka says: secret found in hand — will dispel all bhrama now.
