The verse
क्षणक्षणां जीवा वाटतसे खंती । आठवती चित्तीं पाय देवा ॥१॥ येई वो येई वो येई लवलाहीं । आळिंगूनि बाहीं क्षेम देई ॥ध्रु.॥ उतावळि मन पंथ अवलोकी । आठवा ते चुकी काय जाली ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे माझ्या जीवींच्या जीवना । घाला नारायणा उडी वेगीं ॥३॥
Literal translation
English: ★ Moment-to-moment jīva feels yearning — feet remembered in chitta ★. ★★ Come, come, come quickly — embracing with arms, give blessing ★★. Eager mind watches the path — what mistake happened. Tuka says: my life-of-life — leap quickly, Nārāyaṇā.
