Abhanga 3036
Paṇḍharīsī jā re ālēnō samsārā — go to Paṇḍharī — you who have come to samsāra; dīnāñcā sōyarā Pāṇḍuranga — Pāṇḍuranga is the sōyarā of the dīna.
The verse
पंढरीसी जा रे आलेनो संसारा । दीनाचा सोयरा पांडुरंग ॥१॥
वाट पाहे उभा भेटीची आवडी । कृपाळूं तांतडी उतावीळ ॥ध्रु.॥
मागील परिहार पुढें नेहे सीण । जालिया दर्षणें एकवेळा ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे नेदी आणिकांचे हातीं । बैसला तो चत्तिीं निवडेना ॥३॥
Literal translation
Paṇḍharīsī jā re ālēnō samsārā — go to Paṇḍharī — you who have come to samsāra; dīnāñcā sōyarā Pāṇḍuranga — Pāṇḍuranga is the sōyarā of the dīna. Vāṭa pāhe ubhā bhēṭīñcī āvaḍī — he waits standing — with the āvaḍī of the bhēṭī; krpāḷūm tāmtaḍī utāvīḷa — krpāḷu — tāmtaḍī-utāvīḷa (impatient-hurry). Māgīla parihāra puḍhe nehe sīṇa — (the) parihāra of past — and the removal of future sīṇa; jāliyā darṣaṇe ekaveḷā — (happens) by one darśana. Tukā mhaṇe nedī āṇikāñce hātīm — Tukā says: (he) does not give into other hands; baisalā tō chittīm nivaḍenā — (he) once seated in the chitta — is not nivaḍenā (separated).

The call: Go-to-Paṇḍharī, you-of-samsāra; Pāṇḍuranga is dīnāñcā-sōyarā (kin-of-the-destitute); he-waits-standing for-bhēṭī, with-bhēṭī's-fondness — krpāḷu, in-impatient-hurry; past-(sins)-cleared and-future-toil-removed by-one-darśana; once-seated-in-chitta, never-separated, doesn't-give-into-other-hands.
The Pāṇḍuranga-stands-on-brick-waiting-for-bhēṭī image is from the foundational Puṇḍalīka-legend. Here Tukārām extends-the-image: Viṭṭhal stands-impatient (utāvīḷa, in-hurry), krpāḷu, with-fondness — eagerly-awaiting-the-bhakta. The eagerness-is-on-the-Lord's-side, not-just-the-bhakta's.

The closing-claim baisalā chittīm nivaḍenā — once-seated-in-chitta, never-separated — is bhakti-soteriology condensed: Viṭṭhal-in-the-chitta is-permanent.

(He) does not give (you) into other hands — once (he is) seated in the chitta, (he) is never separated. The verse permits the canonical Paṇḍharī-pilgrimage-call with the Pāṇḍuranga-impatient-with-eagerness image.
