Tukārām's we-strong-by-surrender; found-the-stored-treasure; embrace-at-feet canonical
The verse
आम्ही जालों बळिवंत । होऊनियां शरणागत ॥१॥
केला घरांत रिघावा । ठायीं पडियेला ठेवा ॥ध्रु.॥
हातां चढलें धन । नेणं रचिलें कारण ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे मिठी । पायीं देउनि केली सुटी ॥३॥
Literal translation
We-baḷivanta-by-śaraṇāgati. Entered-house — ṭhēvā-lying-in-place. Wealth-to-hand — don't-know-arranged-cause. Tukā: miṭhī — given-at-feet, suṭī.
What it means
A 3-verse paradox text. Surrender makes us strong; we walked into the house and the treasure was already there; the embrace at the feet set us free.
