Tukaram calls out to God like a helpless orphan asking to be come for, someone with no one else to depend on. His whole being aches with longing, watching the path for any sign of arrival. His heart has become so completely colored by devotion that it simply cannot settle or rest without that presence. In the end, he hands over his deepest worry entirely, asking the compassionate one to carry it for him instead of carrying it alone.
The verse
Literal translation
For-anātha-come, Keśava. Jīva-pines, pōṭa-watches-path. Chitta-colored-at-feet — doesn't-stay-without-you. Tukā: krpā-vanta — let-my-chintā-be-yours.
What it means
A 3-verse anātha-petition. Come for the orphan; my chitta is dyed in your feet; let my chintā be yours.

Where this applies
- When you feel utterly alone and long for someone to come and stand by you
- When you keep watching and waiting for a sign that help or love is on its way
- When your heart is so attached to someone that nothing else can settle it
- When you're finally ready to hand over a heavy worry instead of carrying it alone
