Literal translation
Give-abhaya-dāna-dātā — krpā-sāgar-māyabāpa. Deha-bhāva-at-pāya — no-other-known. Sēvā-bhakti-hīna-nēṇatā-patita — now-hita-at-pāya. Tukā: my-only-sādhana — Viṭhōbā-nāma-sankīrtana.
What it means
A 3-verse petition with foundational closing-claim. Give me fearlessness, ocean-of-compassion, mother-father; I've placed body-feeling at your feet; I'm devoid-of-service-and-bhakti, ignorant, fallen; now my good is at your feet; my-only-sādhana is Viṭhōbā's nāma-sankīrtana. Companion to 2448 (canonical nāma-sankīrtana-sādhana-paim-sōpē).
For someone today

Where this applies
- When you feel too flawed or unworthy but still ask honestly for help and protection
- When you surrender your worry about yourself completely to someone or something you trust deeply
- When you admit you fall short of what real devotion or service should look like, yet keep showing up anyway
- When you find that one simple practice, repeated daily, is enough to hold your whole spiritual life together
