Literal translation
Barave mājhyā kele mane — my mind did well; pamthe yene nighāle — it set out on this path. Abhayem cha jāve ṭhāyā — with fearlessness, go to the place; Deva-rāyā pratāpe — by Deva-rāyā's might. Sādhanāchā na lage pānga — no humble-begging of sādhana is needed; avaghe sānga kīrtana — kīrtana is the whole message. Tukā mhaṇe sattā thōrī — Tukā says: when the authority is great; kōṇa karī khōḷambā — who creates the blockage?
What it means
A 3-verse kīrtana-supremacy text. Mind set-out-on-path; go-with-abhaya by-Deva-rāyā's-pratāpa; no-need-for-pānga-of-sādhana — kīrtana is the whole; when-Deva's-sattā-is-great, who-can-block?
For someone today
Tukārām declares: kīrtana-is-sufficient — you-do-not-need-complicated-sādhana when the Lord's power is the actual support.
Where this applies
