Tukārām's ānanda-kanda-sung-Deva-rāya-in-chitti-makes-me-speak-akhaṇḍa-Name; hold-bhāva-in-mind canonical sadguru-sequence-completion

The verse

Literal translation

Ānanda-kanda-sung-gītī — saw-Deva-rāya-chitti. Deva-rāya-niścaya — speaks-akhaṇḍa-Name. Speaks-by-krpā — Tukā: hold-bhāva.

What it means

A 3-verse sadguru-sequence-completion text. I've sung the root-of-joy in my song; I've seen the Deva-rāya in my heart. The Deva-rāya is (mine) with certainty; he makes me speak the Name continuously. He speaks through me by doing grace — Tukā says: hold the bhāva in mind. Pair with 4312, 4313 (companion-texts). The doctrine: Lord-speaks-Name-through-bhakta (Lord-as-author of bhakta's-speech).

For someone today

Tukārām: the-Lord-makes-me-speak-his-Name-continuously — he-speaks-through-me-by-grace; you-hold-the-bhāva-in-your-mind.
