Literal translation
Grāsōgrāsīm-bhāva — Deva-eats-in-body. Hold-smaraṇa-it-is-sāra — no-distance-no-antara. Bhōgitā-with-bhāva — Deva-sits-eats-with-you. Deva-reached — by-bhāva-antarīm-sevā. Entangled-sādhana — Deva-not-tribhuvana. Tukā: in-hand — not-holding-loses.
What it means
★ A 5-verse bhāva-while-eating canonical text. With devotion at every bite — then Deva eats right in the body itself. Hold continuous-remembering — that is the essence — there is no distance, no gap. When you experience-enjoy with devotion — Deva sits to eat along with you. Deva is reached by you — by devotion — the inner-service. Entangled in (mere outer) sādhana — Deva is not in the three-worlds. Tukā says: this is in the hand — not holding it, they lose. The doctrine: (a) eating-with-bhāva = Deva-eats-in-body itself, (b) smaraṇa is sāra — no-distance, (c) bhōga-with-bhāva = Deva-eats-with-you, (d) antarīmchī-sevā by-bhāva = reaches-Deva, (e) outer-sādhana-entanglement = Deva-not-anywhere, (f) in-the-hand-but-not-held = lost. Pair with 2806 (pavitra-anna-Hari-chintana-bhojana), 2874 (kavaḷō-kavaḷī Govinda-Name bhakta-bhojana-mantra).

Tukārām: every-bite-with-devotion = the-Lord-eats-in-your-body — keep-remembering-the-essence — no-distance — experience-with-bhāva-and-Deva-eats-with-you — but-entangled-in-outer-sādhana-the-Lord-is-nowhere — it's-in-your-hand-but-you-lose-it-by-not-holding-it.
