Genuine grace responds to sincere attention rather than force, meets each person according to their own capacity, and never runs short once your heart truly turns toward it.

विठ्ठल भीमातीरवासी । विठ्ठल पंढरीनिवासी । विठ्ठल पुंडलिकापासीं । कृपादानाविसीं उदार ॥१॥ विठ्ठल स्मरणा कोंवळा । विठ्ठल गौरवीं आगळा । आधार ब्रम्हांडा सकळा । विठ्ठल लीळाविग्रही ॥ध्रु.॥ उभा चि परी न मनी सीण । नाहीं उद्धरितां भिन्न । समर्थाचे घरीं एक अन्न । आर्तभूता क्षणोक्षणा सांभाळी ॥२॥ रुचीचे प्रकार। आणिताती आदरें । कोठें ही न पडे अंतर । थोरां थोर धाकुट्या धाकुटा ॥३॥ करितां बळ धरितां नये । झोंबतां डोळे मनें च होय । आपुल्या उद्देशाची सोय । जाणे हृदयनिवासी ॥४॥ पान्हा तरी आल्या अंतर तेथें । तों नाहीं भरिलें रितें । करितों सेवन आइतें । तुका म्हणे चित्ते चित्त मेळवूनी ॥५॥

Rasa-varieties brought with respect — no shortfall anywhere — to-great great, to-small small. Force dharitām na yē — when grasped, becomes-only-eyes-mind — the hṛdaya-nivāsī knows one's uddēśa-sōya. When pānhā comes — antara there — not filled-empty — we sēvana what's-prepared — Tuka says: mixing citta into citta.

Vitthal stands at Pandharpur, generous and never tired, making no distinction between the great and the small; he meets each person exactly where they are, content with as little as one grain of food from the wealthy while giving full attention to whoever is in distress. You cannot force this kind of closeness or seize it by sheer effort; it happens when your heart and attention genuinely turn toward it, because the one who lives inside you already knows what you actually need. And when that grace does flow, like milk let down for a hungry child, it is never held back or found lacking; it meets you exactly when you are ready to receive it.
