तुटे भवरोग । संचितक्रियमाणभोग ॥१॥ ऐसें विठोबाचें नाम । उच्चारितां खंडे जन्म ॥ध्रु.॥ वसों न सके पाप । पळे त्रिविध तो ताप ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे माया । होय दासी लागे पायां ॥३॥
Literal translation
English: Tuṭē bhava-rōga — samcita-kriyamāṇa-bhoga. Such is Viṭhōbā's nāma — uccāritām — janma is khaṇḍē. Pāpa cannot vasō — trividha-tāpa flees. Tuka says: māyā — becomes dāsī — falls at the feet.

The bhava-rōga (becoming-disease, the disease-of-samsāra) is tuṭē (cut); samcita-kriyamāṇa-bhoga (accumulated-karma-bhoga and currently-being-made-karma-bhoga) (cut); such is Viṭhōbā's nāma; uttering it, janma is khaṇḍē (cut, severed).
