The verse
बैसों खेळूं जेवूं । तेथें नाम तुझें गाऊं ॥१॥ रामकृष्णनाममाळा । घालूं ओवुनियां गळा ॥ध्रु.॥ विश्वास हा धरूं । नाम बळकट करूं ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे आतां । आम्हां जीवन शरणागतां ॥३॥
Literal translation
Sit, play, eat — there sing Your nāma. Rāma-Kṛṣṇa-nāma-mālā — string and put around the gaḷa. Hold viśvāsa — make the nāma baḷakaṭa. Tuka says: now — for us, jīvana is for śaraṇāgatas.

You do not need special moments set aside for devotion; sitting, playing, eating, any ordinary activity can carry your remembrance of the divine name alongside it. Wearing something like a string of sacred names around your neck keeps that intention visible and close. Real faith is what makes a practice strong, not just repeating it out of habit. And a life shaped by surrender means living not just for yourself but in and for a community of people who share that same trust.
