The verse
बरवें देशाउर जालें । काय बोलें बोलावें ॥१॥ लाभें लाभ दुणावला । जीव धाला दरुषणें ॥ध्रु.॥ भाग्यें जाली संतभेटी । आवडी पोटीं होती ते ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे श्रम केला । अवघा आला फळासी ॥३॥
Literal translation
Baravēm — dēśāura — happened. What — bōla — to-be-said. Lābha — duṇāvalā. Jīva — dhālā — daruṣaṇa. Bhāgya — santa-bhēṭi. Āvaḍī — pōṭī — was — that. Tuka says: śrama — done — all — came — phaḷa.

For someone today
Something good happened on this journey, so good that words can't fully capture it. Every gain multiplied into more gain, and simply seeing the saint left the soul fully satisfied. The meeting itself was a stroke of fortune, and it answered a longing that had been quietly held inside for a long time. Tukaram closes by saying that every bit of effort, every mile traveled, every day of waiting, has finally borne fruit.
