-
नव्हे-आराणूक — मनीं-वाहे — Pāṇḍuranga-साहे. No-leisure-but-mind-carries-claim. There is no āraṇūka (leisure, convenience, opportunity); but the mana vāhē (carries, bears) (the longing); Pāṇḍuranga will become his sāhē (helper, aide).
-
पंढरी-उदेग-मानस — धरिलें-पाव-संदेह-नाहीं. Go-to-Pandhari-with-eagerness-claim. To Pandhari one should go with udēga (eagerness) in mānasa (mind); if (one) dharilyā (holds the wish), (one) *pāvasī (attains); there is no sandēha*.
-
नसो-बळ — पराधीन-देह — चिंतन-टाकों-नको. No-strength-body-dependent-don't-drop-cintana-claim. Let there be no baḷa (strength, force); let the dēha be parādhīna (dependent on others); but don't drop this cintana (contemplation, remembrance).
-
Tuka: देह-पडो-चिंतनें — पुढें-येणें-या-साठीं. Let-body-fall-in-cintana-claim. Tuka says: let the dēha fall in this cintana; (it is) for-the-going-ahead — for-this-very-thing. (The body's-falling-while-contemplating is itself the means of the going-forward* — i.e. spiritual progress / next-birth's-direction is set by what one was contemplating at the moment of death.)
