Abhanga 1027
When you ask yourself who really notices your exhaustion, hears your joys and sorrows, and will carry you through, the honest answer for Tukaram is God alone, so he simply bows and trusts.

For someone today
Tukaram asks a string of questions that anyone who has ever felt truly alone will recognize: who else even asks whether I am weary and worn out, who else can I tell my joy and sorrow to, who will remove my hunger and thirst, who will cure this burning restlessness, who will carry me across, who will feed my real desires, who will comfort me with real tenderness, who else will I ever be able to lean on. Each question circles back to the same answer, that without Pandurang all of it feels empty and unanswered. He is not ashamed to admit this dependence; he ends simply bowing at those feet, trusting that God already knows everything he was about to ask.
