Abhanga 1038
This verse is a call to join the pilgrimage procession, the dindi, toward Paṇḍharpūr. Simply carrying the cymbals and small drum used in devotional singing already makes you a companion of Vaikuṇṭha, heaven itself; the instruments themselves mark the fellowship. Tuka issues an urgent, practical summons: if you're going, don't dawdle, pack your travel provisions quickly. The pilgrims move on calling out to each other, and he asks that your heart stay present in that call rather than wandering elsewhere. The final and most important point is that what makes the procession sacred isn't the walking itself, but that the pilgrims go speaking Viṭṭhal's name the whole way, so their very speech becomes the practice.

टाळ दिडी हातीं । वैकुंठींचे सांगाती ॥१॥ जाल तरी कोणा जा गा । करा सिदोरी ते वेगा ॥ध्रु.॥ जाती सादावीत । तेथें असों द्यावें चित्त ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे बोल । जाती बोलत विठ्ठल ॥३॥
