Abhanga 1042
Tukaram makes a plain statement of unwavering commitment. My worship, he says, is the real treasure of Pandharpur; without that one god, nothing else means anything to me, and I don't want to know any other. I am Vitthal's servant, marked as his from this very place, sealed and settled. And now, he says flatly, there will be no change in this, ever. Real devotion, or any real commitment, eventually stops being a daily decision you keep re-making and becomes simply who you are: settled, without wavering, without needing to prove it again and again.

माझें आराधन । पंढरपुरींचें निधान ॥१॥ तया एकाविण दुजें । कांहीं नेणें पंढरीराजें ॥ध्रु.॥ दास विठ्ठलाचा । अंकित अंकिला ठायींचा ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे आतां । नव्हे पालट सर्वथा ॥३॥
Literal translation
Ārādhana — Paṇḍhar-pura — nidhāna. Without that one — Paṇḍharī-rāja — knows nothing. Dāsa Viṭṭhala — ankita ankilā — ṭhāyī. Tuka says: pālaṭa — sarvathā.

एका-विण-दुजें-नाहीं — Paṇḍharī-राजा-नेणें. Pandharī-king-knows-nothing-else-claim. Without that one, no other; Paṇḍharī-rāja knows nothing.

Viṭṭhala-दास — अंकित-अंकिला-ठायींचा. Marked-from-the-place-claim. (I am) Viṭṭhala'sdāsa;ankita ankilā (marked-as-marked, doubly-sealed) from-the-ṭhāyī (the place itself). (The doubledankita-ankilāintensifies:I am sealed-and-stamped from the very place.)
