Abhanga 1134
This verse is a declaration of relief that the cycle of rebirth is ending. Tukaram asks what future birth could even remain for him now, since this weary struggle is wearing itself out. He says he need never wander back into that cycle again, because he has secured the way out. He calls Pandurang's very name a boat that will carry across anyone who holds real faith in it. He closes by telling his father figure that all these repeated rounds of birth are now avoided, once and for all.

पुढें आतां कैंचा जन्म । ऐसा श्रम वारेसा ॥१॥ सर्वथाही फिरों नये । ऐसी सोय लागलिया ॥ध्रु.॥ पांडुरंगा ऐसी नाव । तारूं भाव असतां ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे चुकती बापा । पुन्हा खेपा सकळा ॥३॥
Literal translation
Janma ahead — śrama vārēsā. Phirōm na — sōya. Pāṇḍuranga nāva — tārū bhāva. Tuka says: cuktī — khēpā sakaḷā.

मराठी: हा अभंग पुनर्जन्माचे चक्र संपल्याच्या आनंदाची घोषणा आहे. तुकाराम विचारतात की आता पुढे आणखी कोणता जन्म उरला आहे, कारण हा थकवणारा संघर्ष आता संपत आला आहे. ते म्हणतात की त्यांना पुन्हा या चक्रात फिरावे लागणार नाही, कारण त्यांनी बाहेर पडण्याचा मार्ग निश्चित केला आहे. ते पांडुरंगाच्या नावालाच अशी नाव म्हणतात जी खरी श्रद्धा असणाऱ्याला पैलतीरी पोहोचवते. शेवटी ते वडिलांना सांगतात की जन्म-मृत्यूच्या सर्व फेऱ्या आता कायमच्या चुकल्या आहेत.
