Abhanga 1242
For today: don't strain at sādhanas; wait for a saint to say "Hari has taken you up" — that word is bharavasā; that bhāva is true.
The verse
Literal translation
English: When will my ears hear the news — words spoken from saints' mouths: "Pāṇḍuranga has done your angīkāra"? Then dhīra will come to my jīva. Therefore I look at the face and at the feet — this very is my big āśā. This is my mind's viśvāsa: I do no sāyāsa of sādhanas. Tuka says: I will get bharavasā — "I am saved" — this is the true bhāva.

What it means
Bhupāḷyā 4 of 8 — waiting for the saint's confirmation.
The bhakta's yearning has shifted: not to meet Pāṇḍuranga first, but to hear from a saint's mouth that Pāṇḍuranga has done your angīkāra (taken you up). The saint's word is the seal. Then dhīra (steadiness) will come to the jīva.
This is a precise warkari epistemology: the saint stands as the witness-of-Hari's-act. The bhakta cannot easily verify Hari's angīkāra by his own perception — but the saint can. So the bhakta watches the saint's mukha and pāya (face and feet), waiting for the words.
The closing posture is striking: na karīm sāyāsa sādhanāncē — I do not effort the sādhanas. The bhakta has put down all techniques. The only path is waiting for the saints' word — and that word, when it comes, is bharavasā (firm trust): taralōm mī (I am saved) — sāca bhāva.
