Abhanga 2071
Viṭhṭhal is a physician who reads your inner condition, prescribes exactly what you need, and asks only for love in return, always caring most for the poor and lowly.
The verse
वैद्य एक पंढरिराव । अंतर्भाव तो जाणे ॥१॥ रोगाऐशा द्याव्या वल्ली । जाणे जाली बाधा ते ॥ध्रु.॥ नेदी रुका वेचों मोल । पोहे बोल प्रीतीचे ॥२॥ तुका म्हणे दयावंता । सदा चिंता दीनांची ॥३॥
Literal translation
One Vaidya — Pandhari-rāva — he knows the inner-bhāva. Herbs as the disease (requires) given — he knows what obstruction has happened. Won't take a single coin as fee — settles with words of love. Tuka says: to the compassionate one — always — concern for the dīna.

The opening — Lord as physician: Vaidya ēka Pandhari-rāva — antara-bhāva tō jāṇē — one Vaidya — Pandhari-rāva — he knows the inner-bhāva. There-is-one-Vaidya: Pandhari-rāva (Viṭhṭhal); he-knows the-inner-bhāva (= the proper-physician knows-the-inside, not-just-symptoms).
The diagnosis-and-prescription: rōgāaiśā dyāvyā vallī — jāṇē jālī bādhā tē — herbs as the disease (requires) given — he knows what obstruction has happened. He-gives herbs (vallī) matching-the-disease; he-knows what-obstruction (bādhā) has-arisen.
THE NO-FEE LINE: nēdī rukā vēchōm mōla — pōhē bōla prītīchē — won't take a single coin as fee — settles with words of love. Rukā = a small-coin; pōhē = take-as-settlement. Won't-take-even-a-single-rukā; settles with-words-of-love (prīti-bōla). The Lord-as-physician charges-only-prema.
The closing: Tukā mhaṇē dayā-vantā — sadā chintā dīnāñchī — Tuka says: to the compassionate one — always — concern for the dīna. The compassionate-Lord always-worries-about-the-dīna.
