Abhanga 2094
Pundalik's simple act of putting his parents' care first drew the uncatchable Lord to stand on a brick at Pandharpur, showing that devotion to those in front of you can bring the divine down to earth.
The verse
नातुडे जो कवणे परी । उभा केला विटेवरी ॥१॥ भला भला पुंडलिका । मानलासी जनलोकां ॥ध्रु.॥ कोण्या काळें सुखा । ऐशा कोण पावता ॥२॥ अवघा आणिला परिवार । गोपी गोपाळांचा भार ॥३॥ तुका म्हणे धन्य जालें । भूमी वैकुंठ आणिलें ॥४॥
Literal translation
Who can't be caught by any way — made (him) stand on the brick. Excellent Puṇḍalika — you've become respected by jana-lōka. At what time, to such sukha — who attained? The whole entourage brought — gopī-gopāḷas' multitude. Tuka says: blessed has it become — Vaikuṇṭha brought to earth.

Puṇḍalika-makes-Lord-stand-on-brick-brings-Vaikuṇṭha-to-earth abhang.
THE OPENING ICONIC MOMENT: nātuḍē jō kavaṇē parī — ubhā kēlā viṭēvarī — who can't be caught by any way — made (him) stand on the brick. The Lord-who-cannot-be-caught (by any sādhana) — Puṇḍalika made-him-stand-on-the-brick (Viṭā at Pandhari). The foundational-myth of Pandhari: Puṇḍalika, busy serving his parents, threw a brick for-the-Lord-to-stand-on; the Lord has-stood-there-ever-since.
The fame: bhalā bhalā Puṇḍalikā — mānalāsī jana-lōkām — excellent, Puṇḍalika — you've become respected by jana-lōka. Puṇḍalika is-praised by-all-the-world (jana-lōka).
The unprecedented-sukha: kōṇyā kāḷē sukhā — aiśā kōṇa pāvatā — at what time, to such sukha — who attained?. At-what-time has-anyone attained such-sukha?.
The entourage: avaghā āṇilā parivāra — gōpī-gōpāḷāñchā bhāra — the whole entourage brought — gopī-gopāḷas' multitude. Brought the-entire-gōpī-gōpāḷa-entourage with-him.
THE CLOSING — Vaikuṇṭha-on-earth: Tukā mhaṇē dhanya jālē — bhūmi Vaikuṇṭha āṇilē — Tuka says: blessed has it become — Vaikuṇṭha brought to earth. Pandhari is-blessed; Vaikuṇṭha brought-to-earth. Foundational Vārkarī-theology: Pandhari = Vaikuṇṭha-on-earth.
