Abhanga 2426
English: To give you remembrance again-and-again — hear my bhāva.
The verse
वारंवार तुज द्यावया आठव । ऐक तो भाव माझा कैसा ॥१॥ गेले मग नये फिरोन दिवस । पुडिलांची आस गणित नाहीं ॥ध्रु.॥ गुणां अवगुणांचे पडती आघात । तेणें होय चित्त कासावीस ॥२॥ कांहीं एक तुझा न देखों आधार । म्हणऊनी धीर नाहीं जीवा ॥३॥ तुका म्हणे तूं ब्रम्हांडाचा जीव । तरी कां आम्ही कींव भाकीतसों ॥४॥
Literal translation
English: To give you remembrance again-and-again — hear my bhāva. Days don't return — no calculation of hope for next. Virtues-and-faults strike — chitta becomes distressed. I see no support of yours — therefore no courage in jīva. ★ Tuka says: you are the jīva of the brahmāṇḍa — then why do we cry for mercy ★.

★ THE CLOSING PARADOX ★: Tukā mhaṇē tūm Brahmāṇḍāchā jīva — tarī kām āmhī kīmva bhākītasōm — ★ you are the jīva of the brahmāṇḍa — then why do we cry for mercy ★. ★ You are the-jīva (life-essence) of-the-brahmāṇḍa (cosmos); then-why-do-WE cry-for-mercy? ★ The paradox: if the Lord-is the-jīva-of-everything (including the bhakta), then the bhakta is-already-saved; the crying-for-mercy is-itself a-confused-stance.
