Abhanga 3209
Fondness, not formality, makes worship intimate, and undivided devotion keeps you truly bound to God.
When you notice that genuine affection, not obligation, is what makes a bond feel real
When a divided heart makes a relationship or practice feel distant and uneven
When you find that simple, loving words comfort you more than costly gestures do
The verse
आवडीची सलगी पूजा । विषम दुजा भाव तो ॥१॥
ऐसीं उफराटीं वर्में । कळों भ्रमें न येती ॥ध्रु.॥
न लगे समाधान मोल । रुचती बोल प्रीतीचे ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे एका जीवें । सूत्र व्होवें गुंतलें ॥३॥
Literal translation
Āvaḍī-makes-pūjā-salagī (familiar); second-bhāva is-viṣama. Such-inverted-varma — bhrama doesn't-grasp. Samādhāna-needs-no-mōla; prīti-words rejoice. Tukā: by-one-jīva, sūtra bound.
