Tukārām's fondness-shows-by-marks; eat-what-feels canonical
The verse
आवडी येते कळों । गुणें चिन्हें उमटती ॥१॥
पोटीचें ओठीं उभें राहे । चत्ति साहे मनासी ॥ध्रु.॥
डाहोळे याची भूक गर्भा । ताटीं प्रभा प्रतिबिंबे ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे मानोन घ्यावें । वाटे खावें वाटतें ॥३॥
Literal translation
Fondness-comes-to-knowing — guṇa-chinha-emerge. Pōṭī-thing at-lips; chitta-supports-mana. Ḍāhōḷe of-garbha — prabhā reflected-on-plate. Tukā: accept — eat-what-feels.
