Speaking God's Name draws the divine within reach and secures your liberation, even if the outer pilgrimage or formal path was imperfect.
When you worry that simply saying a Name isn't enough compared to harder practices

The verse
वाचेचिया आळा कवळिलें ब्रम्ह । चुकविला श्रम पृथक तो ॥१॥
सुलभ जालें सुलभ जालें । जवळी आलें पंढरिये ॥ध्रु.॥
नामरूपाचें बांधलें मोटळें । एक एका वेळे सारियेलें ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे वाटे चुकली वसती । उद्धार तो हातीं आणियेला ॥३॥
Literal translation
By-vāchā-encircling brahma-grasped; prthaka-śrama-avoided. Sulabha-jāle, Paṇḍharī-near. Nāma-rūpa-bundled, one-by-one. Tukā: road-vasati-missed, uddhāra-in-hand.
