Tukārām: we don't compromise the cure for fees.
Tukārām's not-fake-vaidya; sukha-upāya-ahead anti-quackery claim
The verse
नव्हों वैद्य आम्ही अर्थाचे भुकेले । भलते द्यावे पाले भलत्यासी ॥१॥
कुपथ्य करूनि विटंबावे रोगी । का हे सलगी भीड त्याची ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे लांसू फांसुउं देऊं डाव । सुखाचा उपाव पुढें आहे ॥३॥
Literal translation
We're-not-vaidya-hungry-money; (don't-)give-any-pāle to-any. Don't-do-kupathya-viṭambāve-rogī; no-salagī-bhīḍa. Tukā: no-lāsū-phāsū-ḍāva; sukha-upāya-ahead.
