You don't need to know the proper rhythm or ritual, sincere love offered without shame is enough.

What it means
A short 3-verse kīrtana-ecstasy text. I'm offering you-your-own; I don't know rhythm or sevā-rules; just put-prēma into me. Companion to 2946 (canonical baby-talk-shameless).
For someone today
Tukaram describes himself singing and dancing in pure joy to the beat of cymbals and pots, admitting freely that he does not know the proper way to worship or the correct steps of devotion. His feet and hands move any which way, without rhythm or technique, and he feels no shame or hesitation about that. What he asks for is simple, just let love be placed in him. This is a reminder that devotion does not require perfect form, sincere love matters more than getting the ritual right.
