Tukārām: when-the-truth's-day-comes, nothing-can-hide.
Tukārām's jagad-whitened-darkness-dispelled; jīva-cost-miṭhī-on-dhurā canonical-darśana
The verse
धवळलें जगदाकार । आंधार तो निरसला ॥१॥
लपों जातां नाहीं ठाव । प्रगट पा पसारा ॥ध्रु.॥
खरियाचा दिवस आला । वाढी बोला न पुरे ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे जिवें साटीं । पडिली मिठी धुरेसी ॥३॥
Literal translation
Jagad-ākāra-whitened — āndhāra-dispelled. No-place-to-hide — pragaṭa-spreads. Day-of-true-one-came — bōlā-can't-reach-vāḍhī. Tukā: jīva-cost — miṭhī-fell-on-dhurā.
What it means
A 3-verse darśana-text. The world-form is illumined; darkness is gone; on the day of the True-one no speech is adequate; at life-cost, an embrace falls.
