Abhanga 3587

The bhakta is allowed to call-out divine-delay: become-quickly-udāra; the work-itself isn't-actually-long. Persistent-stretching can begin to feel like the Lord's own aḷasa.

Tukārām's why-this-strain; mould-of-abheda-broken; become-quickly-udāra impatient prayer

Vrttīvari āmhām yeṇe kāśāsāṭīmwhy this coming back to vrtti to us; evaḍhī he āṭī sōsāvayāto bear such āṭī. What it means

A 3-verse impatient bhakta-rebuke-to-the-Lord. Why-am-I-coming-back-to-mental-modifications and-bearing-this-strain; you-know but-pretend-not-to-know — should-the-delusion-be-kept; I've-broken-the-mould-of-abheda and-leaked-out — why-has-aḷasa fallen-on-you; quickly-become-generous, no-need-for-long-stretching. The mūsa (mould) of abheda — the crucible in which the bhakta is being-cast.

For someone today
