The verse

Literal translation

Where-drṣṭi-rests — mana-wraps-there. Push-pīḍa-from-self — diṭhāvēlē-anna-vomits. Why-kōḍa-in-any-matter — wonder-arises. Tukā: quickly-raise-hand — I'll-roar-kīrti-greatly.

What it means

A 3-verse petition. Where my gaze settles, my mana wraps-around there; push away the pain — evil-eye-tainted food makes one vomit; why is there a puzzling-flaw in any matter? Raise your hand quickly — I'll roar your kīrti greatly.

For someone today

Tukārām: where-the-gaze-settles, the-mana-wraps; raise-your-hand — I'll-roar-kīrti.
