When you trust someone's power to help you, ask directly for a simple word of reassurance instead of enduring needless delay.
The verse
आपण तों असा । समर्थ जी हृषीकेशा ॥१॥
करा करा बुझावणी । काय विलंब वचनीं ॥ध्रु.॥
हेंगे ऐसें म्हणा । उठूनि लागेन चरणा ॥२॥
घेऊनियां सुखें । नाचेल तुका कवतुकें ॥३॥
Literal translation
You-samartha-Hrṣīkēśa. Do-bujhāvaṇī — why-vilamba-in-vachana. Say-yes-yes — uṭhūnī-fall-at-charaṇa. Taking-sukha — Tukā-dances-in-kavatuka.
What it means
A short 3-verse petition. You're all-capable; explain (settle) it; why delay; just say yes-yes — I'll get up and fall at your feet; Tukā will dance in charm taking sukha.

Tukārām isn't asking for a long explanation, just a simple yes, one word of assurance is enough for him to get up and bow at your feet.
