A love that fills the mind completely can erase your old life and dissolve the sense of being a separate self, all from truly absorbing one true word.
The verse
माझिया मनाची बैसली आवडी । अवसान घडी एकी नेघे ॥१॥
पाय चित्तीं रूप डोळांच राहिलें । चिंतने गोविलें मुख सदा ॥ध्रु.॥
अवघियांचा जाला विसर हा मागें । वेध हा श्रीरंगें लावियेला ॥२॥
तुका म्हणे कानीं आइकली मात । तो चि जाला घात जीवपणा ॥३॥
Literal translation
Mana-āvaḍī-settled — doesn't-take-avasāna-ghaḍī. Feet-in-chitti-rūpa-in-eyes — chintana-wraps-mukha-always. Past-forgotten — Śrīranga-lavished-vēdha. Tukā: word-heard-in-ear — ghāta-of-jīva-paṇa.
What it means
A 3-verse settled-mind text. My mind's love has settled; doesn't take a resting-minute; feet in chitti, form in eyes, chintana wraps the mouth; everything past forgotten — Śrīranga has pierced me; the word I heard was the death-blow of jīva-paṇa.

Tukaram describes a love that has completely taken over his mind, so much that it never rests, not even for a moment. God's feet fill his heart, God's form fills his eyes, and constant remembrance keeps his mouth occupied with praise. Everything from his old life has simply been forgotten, because Shrirang has pierced him through so deeply. He says that one true word he heard, once truly absorbed, was enough to strike down his old sense of being a separate, isolated self.
