Tukārām's whatever-I-did-I-bear; kaṭī-kara-standing-with-dhīra-held canonical
The verse
Literal translation
Whatever-I-did-I-bear — how-does-bhāvika-look. Waved-kāyā — cast-it-down. What-happens-doesn't — I-don't-know-to-hold-sattā. Tukā: kaṭī-kara — standing-with-dhīra.
What it means
A 3-verse text. Whatever I did, I now bear it — how does the bhāvika see this? I've waved my body around and offered it; I don't know how to hold authority over what-happens-and-doesn't; Tukā: hands-on-waist, standing with patience-held — the canonical Viṭhṭhal-pose mirrored back.
For someone today
Tukārām: I've-offered-my-body — stand-with-hands-on-waist-and-dhīra.
