Abhanga 3658

Tukārām: eyes-full I'll-see-Hari's-śrī-mukha.

When you realize all you truly want is to be face to face with someone you love.
When you are willing to bow completely, holding back nothing, for the sake of that one wish.
When simply seeing someone clearly feels like it would fulfill everything you need.

The verse

Literal translation

Holding-in-jīvi-came — bhēṭī-with-Viṭhōbā. No-other-samkalpa — petitioning-mahā-rāja. Bhāḷa-on-pāya — sakaḷa-attained. Tukā: eyes-full-see-Hari's-śrī-mukha.

What it means

A 3-verse meeting-petition. I've come holding this in my life — let me meet Viṭhōbā; no other intention; I'll place my forehead on your feet; I'll see Hari's face fully.

For someone today

Tukārām: eyes-full I'll-see-Hari's-śrī-mukha.
