Literal translation

Krṣṇa-we-are-your-own-gaḍī — fed-butter-with-love. Krṣṇa-rākhēm-rākhēm — fallen-in-sankaṭa. Indra-śilādhārī — Govardhana-lifted. Tukā: gopāḷas-narrate-all-pavāḍē Nārāyaṇa.

What it means

★★ Verse-4 of dāvānala-grasana cluster. O Krṣṇa! we are your own close-companions; we fed you butter with love. O Krṣṇa! save us — somehow! We've fallen into sankaṭa. When Indra rained the stone-shower, you lifted the Govardhana mountain. Tukā says: the gopāḷas narrate all your praises, Nārāyaṇa. The petition-ground deepens: (a) friendship-history (we fed you butter); (b) prior-rescue-precedent (Govardhana-lift in the Indra crisis). Pair with the broader Govardhana-narrative.
